Use a Professional Display

An exhibit does not have to be flashy to be successful, but you should use custom trade show displays that allow potential customers to know what you’re selling. All photos and graphics should look professionally prepared and your company’s message clearly identifiable.

Promote BEFORE the show
Don’t wait for the show to start before trying to make contacts. Well before the event takes place, drive traffic to your booth by sending out mailings and announcements. Call important customers and prospects to set up meetings with them at the show.

Have A Giveaway Or Gimmick

Giveaways do not have to be elaborate or expensive to work. You can offer samples of your product, but novelty items with your company name are good too: stationary, coffee mugs, key chains, laser pointers, or even just pens. Even a bowl full of sweets is better than nothing.
