Trade Show Updates: COVID-19 (Updated June 2020)

Due to the growing concerns over public health and safety in wake of the COVID-19 global pandemic, travel restrictions and restrictions on group gatherings, many of 2020’s trade shows and conferences have made changes to existing show schedules and locations to adapt to evolving circumstances. Canceled Shows

JCK Las Vegas 2020

After careful consideration, the JCK 2020 Show has been cancelled. The next show is scheduled to take place June 2021. It was originally scheduled to take place on May 31-June 5, 2020. Read the JCK Las Vegas 2020 official statement here.

Hospitality Design Expo + Conference 2020

In collaboration with the members of the community, the Hospitality Design Expo + Conference, which had been scheduled for May 5-7, 2020, in Las Vegas, Nevada, has been canceled. The decision was made upon reviewing travel restrictions, containment areas, government and public health authorities, company-imposed travel restrictions on exhibitors and attendees, and cancellations made by conference partners. At this time, the next Hospitality Design Expo + Conference is scheduled for May 4-6, 2021.

National Restaurant Association Show 2020

The National Restaurant Association Show 2020, originally scheduled for May 16-19, 2020, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, has been canceled. Next year’s show will take place on May 22-25, 2021.

International Council of Shopping Centers RECon 2020

The International Council of Shopping Centers RECon 2020 event has been cancelled in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will no longer take place in May of 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the organizers are now preparing for the 2021 show. International Pow Wow

The U.S. Travel Association’s International Pow Wow (IPW) show, which was set to take place on March 16, 2020, has been officially canceled. The U.S. Travel Association is working to preserve future dates for the show in 2020.

Rescheduled/Reworked Shows

IWCE: International Wireless Communications Expo

The International Wireless Communications Expo 2020 (IWCE 2020) has been rescheduled to Aug. 24-28, 2020, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can keep up with important news and updates at the IWCE Updates Page.

National Association of Broadcasters Show 2020

The National Association of Broadcasters Show 2020 (NAB 2020) will no longer take place in April 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To keep the show community connected, there will be new short- and long-term online offerings, including NAB Show Express, and new exhibits and events at the NAB Show New York later in 2020.

Offshore Technology Conference 2020

The 2020 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) on May 4-7, 2020, in Houston is postponed in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, the conference hosts are working to confirm dates in August or September of 2020, as well as communicating with speakers and exhibitors to develop plans to provide a platform for energy professionals in the coming weeks.

National Hardware Show 2020

The National Hardware Show 2020 (NHS 2020) has been rescheduled to Sept. 1-3, 2020, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Summer Fancy Food Show

The Summer Fancy Food Show was first rescheduled to June 28-30, 2020, at the Javits Center in New York City, New York. However, on April 13th, they made the decision to cancel the show. The show is providing an “Ask the Experts” webinar series to discuss risk-mitigation planning for the challenges related to the pandemic environment. You can find more information here.

Licensing Expo

Licensing Expo has been rescheduled to August 11-13 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. All exhibition bookings and visitor pre-registrations will be transferred automatically to the new dates. Read more updates here.

Cosmoprof NA

The Cosmoprof North America event has been postponed to Sept. 20-22. It will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Read the full press release here.

Shows Continuing as Planned

International Woodworking Fair 2020

The International Woodworking Fair 2020 (IWF 2020) will go on as scheduled from Aug. 25-28, 2020, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. You can find information about the event and registration here.

International Manufacturing Technology Show 2020

The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2020 (IMTS 2020) will go on as scheduled from Sept. 14-19, 2020, at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference 2020

The International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition & Conference 2020 (IBEX 2020) will go on as scheduled from Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2020. The IBEX 2020 partners are closely monitoring developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic to implement any necessary changes.

Super Zoo

SuperZoo in Las Vegas is proceeding with current plans to host on August 31- September 3. The situation is being continually monitored, and most recent updates can be found here.


IMEX America is monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and is planning to keep the original scheduled dates for September 15 – 17 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas. Learn more about the event here.

International Vision Expo West

Vision Expo West is still on schedule for September 23-26 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center. We are following all health and safety advice closely and will update with any changes. View our full exhibition information here.

International Fastener Expo

The International Fastener Expo is staying on the original schedule of Sept. 28-30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are closely monitoring all COVID-19 updates. View our website for the official statement.

G2E Gaming Expo

Global Gaming Expo (G2E) events are scheduled, as planned, for October 5-8 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas. The American Gaming Association is continuing to monitor the pandemic to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance. Visit our website for all updates and information.

National Association of Convenience Stores

The National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) has planned to uphold their current dates in Las Vegas: Oct. 11-14 for the Conference and Oct 12-14 for the Expo. Changes to the format may be made to keep everyone safe and adhering to local laws. View more info on the NACS FAQ page.

HR Technology

Supply Side West

Supply Side West welcomes you to their show on Oct 27-30 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. We don’t currently foresee changes to this event, but are closely monitoring and will keep everyone updated with any future news. American Academy of Ophthalmology

The American Academy of Ophthalmology will be hosting the 2020 exhibition events as scheduled. Attend from Nov. 14-16 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Academy is actively monitoring developments with COVID-19, and will provide any updates on our website.

CES 2021

CES 2021 (Cosumer Electronics Show) is still planning on holding an in-person event in Las Vegas, January of 2021. They’re taking extra precautions such as regularly cleaning/sanitizing spaces throughout the venue, widening aisles, providing more space and asking people to wear masks. SHOT Show 2021

The NSSF is still planning on hosting the 2021 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, January of 2021. The show will take place at both the Sands Expo Center and Caesars Forum. They are actively monitoring the pandemic and will share updates as they become available. You can read there official statement here.
